How do we internet marketers check where our site is ranked in Google?

Whether your site is a blog, an article, or a website you created, how can we check where it is ranked in Google without having to go through the millions of pages to search for it?

Does anyone know how? Thank you.

My first way to check my site rankings is to Google my main keywords and see where my site is listed.
That's really what matters.

Alexa is the most recommended resource.
It will show Page rank, Traffic rank, etc.

Just Google "Alexa" and it will come up.

Another good site is Quantcast.
Quantcast

This site breaks down your traffic into demographics.
Very cool.

or just go to Search Engine Marketing Services - Marketleap: Trust, Search, Succeed and check.

There are heaps of these tools available - the problem is they are not consistent! They will check search engine rankings, backlinks, keywords the lot!
So, pick one you like and stick with it!
That way you will get consistency!
