    Hey Rich,

Well, I'm betting that your topic is going to spark a lively discussion but here's my $0.02

SubmitYourArticle.com (a paid service) submits article to a bunch of different sites/services for you. Because their service is designed to submit the "same" article to different sites, the heve a tool called "Article Leverage" that is designed to help you quikly and easily modify the article you are submitting.

The tool gets you to write 3 (or more) variations of your first paragraph and then you rewrite 10 different sentences in your article. SubmitYourArticle then uses a mix and match process to create a number of different articles from your original.

With that said, my advice would be to rewrite your first paragraph, a few sentences in the body and your closing paragraph. That would be for the best results.

However, if you're not concerned about some of your articles getting relegated to the supplemental results on Google, then just submit the same article to all of the sites.

Also, it depends on what the main goal is for your articles. If you're looking for traffic from them, then modify them to assure the most exposure. But if you're just using them for incoming links to boost your sites ranking in the SERPs, then I would just use the same article.

There, was that confusing enough? ;-)

Thank You for the advice, that was actually pretty clear, a lot better than I

    have received from other places.

      Hello Guys,

I'm new to this particular forum, SO HELLO! With regards to your question, I have never heard of the service that mrjonman talked about, although I have heard that many people have been banned/sandboxed from SE's for article spamming (using auto-submit article websites).

I generally submit the same article 4 or 5 times to different sites, then alter it somewhat, submit it another 4 or 5 times and so on. This has always worked well for my me.

I will certainly be having a look at your suggested website mrjonman, an excellent idea, the automatic content rotation sounds great! thanks for that! if you're in any doubt though Rich, I suggest manual submission, sometimes it just isnt worth the risk!

I bought some article spinning software and submitter software and used them in conjunction for a while. In the end I realised that I had probably wasted my money.
It is far more effective to rewrite articles yourself and submit to a few selected highly rated directories. By rewrite I usually write a new headline, new first and last paragraphs, and change some words in the rest, pretty much as mrjonman says.
When I launch a new site if I don't have time I will pay someone to write 20-30 articles and dripfeed them into the site. It can be more time effective and when you find a good writer it's so much easier.

  • I do it from time to time, when I write something great, but I slightly reword the press-release or article, so google indexing spiders don't pass it over.

I always rewrite the headline, the first and last paragraphs and then change some words for synonyms in the rest of the article.

As an extra I will change the clickthrough text to a different keyword.

I have hundreds and hundreds of articles. I rarily submit to anything but ezinearticles, but when I do, I don't make any changes to the article.

It's a huge waste of time! Spend that time creating more articles.

I see a lot of my articles plastered all over the 1st page of google. Usually it's the ezinearticles one on top followed by the articlesbase one. The same article, no changes.

This is a pretty controversial topic. I don't submit the same exact article to multiple directories. It's really not that hard to revise an article, and if you submit revised versions of your article to the top directories, you should get a pretty good bank for your buck (and it's free!)

Thanks everybody for the great advice, I was afraid since I submitted a

article to Ezine Articles and the response was a week to get reviewed, I

started submitting to other directories. I thought Ezine Article might not

approve it because of that. I better start revising!

    Thanks Again:

    Rich
