A great to-do list program

I've searched for a good to-do list program and I came across this gem:

ToDoList Resources AbstractSpoon Software

This is a free public licensed tasklist program, and I've been using it for a couple of days.

I'll just say that it is really amazingly helpful. It has a lot of awesome features for a free program including the ability to write detailed comments for each task, unlimited levels of sub-tasks for really detailed jobs, a nice intuitive interface, colored tasks, and a lot more.

Hope this helps some of you who were looking for something like this.

If you have an iPhone . . . my favorite free to do list program is ReQall. You dictate your to do list and it transcribes it. Takes a couple of minutes for it to transcribe but it is amazingly accurate. Just remember to hit refresh in a couple of minutes after dictating.

Using the word Buy as the first word puts your item in the shopping list to do. It also recognizes dates.

There are better programs for To Do's but the dictation capability is what makes this app so handy.

Great find Sully, thanks a lot for sharing. I write notes to myself all the time and fill notepads every few months with more scribbles than I can keep up with. Not to mention all the bits of paper I have laying around with important notes on. Amazing features for a free product. It has the sort of attention to detail you'd expect from a paid product. I can see myself having this open all day and using it a LOT! especially with that comments section for each todo to add more detail.

You're welcome, I agree that it's a lot better than using pen and paper although some might prefer that. The comments feature is indeed incredibly useful as you can write out so many details for each task. Saves a lot of paperwork in my experience thus far.

I would like to offer this kind of functionality as an online tool for members within a membership site, ideally a plug-in for WordPress, compatable with WishList. In otherwords, it would be used to track their progress as they work through the training program.

Anyone know of such a thing? Last time I did a search for plug-ins over at WP, I didn't see what I was looking for.
