Trying to build a list need critique with form

Hi all,
I am trying to promote my female niche site
It's about fitness, beauty and dancing
It's a popular searched topic getting 200 visits a day now
I signed up for aeweber last night and put the form up
I thought I'd get 100 signups a day
However I only get 5 !!

Is it suppose to be that low?
Are there guidelines how to market the newsletter?

Right now mine reads:

Want to learn Dancing tips from the Pro? Get a copy of my free dancing Ebook Guide Today! And start your journey learning more health, beauty and sexy tips to becoming a Sexy Goddess

    is your traffic searching for dance, or beauty & fitness?

    From a consumer standpoint, when I want dance tips, I'm not necessarily thinking health and beauty--and vice versa.

    For me, at least, it's one or the other.

    So maybe you need to limit your report to what is being searched for most.

    I think you need to keep it short.

    I beleive "FREE DANCING TIPS FROM A PRO" would be more effective

      I am having the opposite problem
      Percentage of sign ups is fine traffic is dire
      Based on my current signup ratio with your traffic Id get 60 a day

      Anyhow is your site an actual site/blog or a squeeze page
      If you are providing a lot of content and just have a box somewhere in your side bar you may not get much response

      Create a squeeze page and place a large banner pointing to it on your site

      Alternatively have a squeeze open when some one enters or leaves your site

    Making your offer irresistible is the key for optins. It looks like you have missed deciding what your USP is.

    Make sure you are using other methods for building your list and not be dependent on your site. Like using squeeze pages.
