Two affiliate programs for the same product, anyone?

Without a doubt, affiliate program is one of the best ways to get traffic.

To drive up even more traffic, has anyone tried using more than one affiliate programs for the same product - at the same time? For example, Clickbank and PayDotCom.

If so, are the results better than one program? Is it worth the time taking this approach?

I am just toying with the idea...and need some actual feedback. Thank you.

i dont see what would speak against it. Easy to make seperate pages for CB, PDC etc. In downloadguard i just set up the various payment links for CB, PDC and then put them on the pages for the specific affiliate program of my sites.

More potential customers, more exposure: Profit !

Just recently, I started using CB next to my regular PayPal affiliate program. This has definitely increased my sales, since people can use their preferred payment processor (and the CB marketplace brings you extra traffic & affiliates)!

No need for that if you use SmartButtonPro - check the WSO link in my sig.

It allows you to easily generate the script you need to add both a Clickbank button and another payment button to your page - so you don't have to create two different pages.

When your visitor arrives at your site through a Clickbank hoplink, he will be presented a Clickbank payment button. This allows your CB affiliate to earn commissions for every referred sale.

When your visitor arrives through a non-Clickbank (affiliate) link, he will be presented your basic payment button.

You can find an example at the sales page at smartbuttonpro.com
