Warriors,

Since many of you guys keep getting hammered with so many info in here, it's time to back to basics.

Best Way To Find Niche-Specific Backlinks - Everyday

Go go Google.com, search your target keyword.

Now hit More Options (top left) and some options will show up.

Hit Latest Results.

Now Choose between dozens of blogs where you want to place your comment and your relevant link with anchor text.

Rules I created just now:

a) Remember to write relevant comments - the ones that stick there for years... with your link.

b) Remember to this everyday for 20-30 minutes.

Take care!

Fernando

Here's 2 good ways... find a site similar to yours on Google and click on the similar link directly below the site listing in Google

you can also use yahoo site explorer - which works even better

I can't find the 'similar link' on Google when using IE 8

Also if some sites don't have an entry for website address in the comment field would adding a link in the post itself help create a backlink.

Also would this backlink still be helpful if the site has a no follow policy?

It is not easy to find the "REAL" backlinks because most sites are all "NoFollow" links indeed.
If you want to find niche-specific backlinks, you'd better try to find the sharing of others because they can provide more useful information for us.

Find what platform a website is run on. E.g, sometimes you'll find "powered by ExpressionEngine" at the bottom of a forum.

Do a Google search on "powered by ExpressionEngine" or "Revision3 Corporation" (in quotes) and you'll find more places to create backlinks than you know what to do with.

Or... just click my sig and get more backlink packets for free than you know what to do with

Vashie, I don't see a signature link under your post.

I'm new here, first post, but this looks like a powerful forum! I look forward to participating.

A sig should show up under mine... it's another way to build niche links. Post tips or answer questions related to the same subject as your site, and you get a do-follow link under your answer/tip.
