How many of you guys do internet marketing part time?

Or what about those that do internet marketing full-time, how do you handle being alone on the job most of the time?

I am a part timer but looking to go full time in the next year.

I own a real live offline business in the UK that I have to sell first.

The great thing about this market is that you can make a start without leaving your current job. It is a secure way of keeping money coming in

I'm not too alone. My wife helps me too, and I talk on the phone, go for walks, go to lunch, and also teach ballroom dancing. So I am around people a lot, and I am always sure to take frequent breaks.

Yeah part time for me too....

I want to change that, however, don't know if full time (if I ever got to that stage) would be for me, enjoy meeting new people and want to make a strong career outside IM too, and parents proud of course!

Freedom would be soooo awesome though

For me it is not a negative. I prefer working alone and not being bothered. I can get more done in two hours this way than I could in eight working in an office.

And if I get bored, I just jump on one of my motorcycles and go out riding for a couple of hours. You can't beat this. There is no one to tell me when to work, how long to work, or what I have to get accomplished. Of course, you have to be self-disciplined, but it really isn't that hard to be once you get into the swing of things.

    Part-time... for now!

I can't imagine why anybody would not want to make full-time income from home. Even if they don't want to actually do it full-time.

Anyone with a Desire For Success who is Willing To Learn can build a substantial income. An income base that can provide for all the necessities of life... and then some!

Once this base is established, we can truly 'find' ourselves.

It really goes back to the question 'If time or money were no object, what would you like to do?'

So many times, we hear people say something like 'I couldn't see myself retiring, I have to be doing something.'

    True! But...

'Something' does not have to be a 'Job'.

'Something' can be anything you do which allows you to contribute to society and, hopefully, makes the world a better place.

...work full-time as a volunteer for your favourite charity
...be a full-time Little League coach
    ...pursue your talent
...'discover' the world as a nature enthusiast
...write the next 'Great American Novel'

If you are not already familiar with it, I suggest you check out 'Mazlow's Hierarchy of Needs.'

Mazlow also cover's the 'Alone' part as well.

Personally, I prefer to work alone on specific tasks. However, it is important that we do not disconnect from society as a whole.

I really miss being in an office and the camaraderie that I found there. At some point I want to go back to work in an office at least a couple of days a week, just so I can talk to grownups. Ahem, not saying you people on the WF aren't grownups, not at all. Okay, talk to people face to face, how's that?

BUT - I have two kids and since I started working from home I have been able to help them with their homework, cook home cooked meals for them, and spend a lot more time with them. So it's worth it for the time being.

I found that I missed being in the office and having a set schedule. But what has happened over time for me is my body clock has put me on a pretty regular schedule that I think is quite healthy. I almost never use an alarm clock anymore.

That's it Dana, my colleagues at the moment are awesome guys... we've built such a strong team I can't imagine leaving them, however to have the freedom like Barry says, to go out and explore as and when you like, would be amazing!

    I do it full time...

4 hours a day on an average.

And I do nothing else (To make money)

    I have this formula...

To make money, make videos everyday. And then give some, submit some, sell some and use some to sell them.

That's basically my formula/// and it doesn't take me more than 4 hours a day to do it.
