.psd to .html Free Version??

Does that exist? If so, may I please get a link.

Or perhaps instructions on how to do this myself.

.gif or .jpg to .html may suffice as well.

Mucho Gracias

Could you please explain your question in more detail?

.psd is the file format for Adobe Photoshop, .jpg, .gif are image file formats. .html is the file format for web pages.

Do you mean you want to convert from one to the other? They are all different things.

Sorry for the confusion..I'm still figuring all these differences out. What I mean is I have a website template in .psd format, and I would like to open it with my web editor (KompoZer), but beings as that only loads .html files, I need a way to convert my .psd website file into a .html

Is this possible for me to do without having to purchase anything? I sure hope so!

      Thanks for any advice!

    Do you have photoshop?

If you do, there is a good chance that the PSD you have might have been prepared to export to HTML.

If you have photoshop, try opening the file up in there and seeing of you can go "Save for web and devices" and export an html site straight out.

Otherwise, I don't think there's a free program to do it. Not that I know of anyway.

Yes, I have Photoshop but it is Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0. I don't know if this particular version has a slice tool, I've looked all over the damn software for it (lolz):p

I have the 'Save for web and devices' option, but when I click on this, and then on OK after the window appears, it takes me to a save option. My only save option is under the 'Images' folder, under my HTML folder.

So I mean...I'm getting close anyhow..but now, how do I convert my .jpg image into .html then instead??

In response to dave147, now my website templates are not in .psd
They all came as .html (index.html, support.html, about-us.html, etc.) Then it came with an agreement, a style.css file, the individual images that are included on the website in .gif, and .png format, as well as a .psd file for the main page.

I used the .psd file of the main page to change the logo that I had on top of my site. Now I need to use this updated .psd main page template to convert into .html again.

Because, my WYSIWYG web editor (KompoZer) only opens .html (right?), thats whats been happening for me anyhow. Once I have the updated .psd into html, and loaded on KompoZer, then I can finally publish it online, and begin article writing...I need to get on track lolz..

All this technical stuff is blowing my mind right now, this is alot to take in.

Any advice, suggestions, ideas, comments, concerns - please, I welcome them!!

      Thanks again,
