What's the Obsession with the Number 13 in IM?

Call me suspicious or paranoid or whatever you want but I seem to remember the number 13 being classified as the "unlucky number". A number that is feared my many worldwide and one that is well known for its circumstance.

Though I've noticed that a lot of the top marketers are purposefuly using this number in their marketing tactics. Creating 13 minute long videos and whatknot.

Are they trying to express something through the use of the number?

If so what and what do you think of using it in your marketing?

      I thought the number we were OCD'ing on was 7. I personally don't pay too much attention to these things; split-test and find what works best for you.

        Yup, I wouldn't even worry about it. 13 could be the luckiest number for one persona and terrible for someone else.

    You know the funny thing is that the number 13 has been represented as the unlucky or evil number. Every time anything I see is associated with this number it reminds me of "Friday the 13th." - The movie...

    I really haven't noticed marketers using any marketing tactics with this number, but then again it sounds like something I should do as well.

    The only significance that may be associated with "13" is the fact that it's an odd number and it's been shown that odd numbers convert better than even..."Top 3..5 ..7...$47..$67. Sounds like you may have observed a coincidence where they where trying to keep their videos around 10 minutes long and kept hitting 13.
