What do you think about adbrite and adsense?

I am implementing Adbrite right now on my page and i am curious if it takes away from the conversion rates and professional look of the page.

Does it make a page look spammy or non-credible?

I currently only use text links and one mid page banner.

    I've experimented with Adbrite. Not much luck.
    But, that's not to say it doesn't work.
    Could've been my niche.

    Bottom line...

    Anything thing that takes visitors away from your site is not good.
    Unless, of course, your site is designed to do that.
    If your purpose is to get clicks on Adsense or send your visitors to Amazon, etc.
