Perfect Wordpress Desktop Client

INTERNET MARKETING

I looked out for wordpress desktop clients. Lots of them are there. They are good. Currently I have a wordpress self hosted blog. Want to import it in desktop do some editing and publish them.This functionality is lagging I think. Please give me directions on this (paid one too).

Not entirely clear what are you asking for.

Desktop clients are for publishing your content from... desktop, i.e. without logging into your WP admin panel. Although the application still has to log in, connect etc. in the background.

Now, "importing" your self hosted WP blog to your own machine - is a totally different animal. Basically, you need a 'replica' of your blog installed locally, for example, using XAMPP or a similar software package that would make your computer to act as a local server.

The local installation is great if you plan to edit, tweak the theme, the design and you don't want to mess with the live blog.

So, before asking for "directions"... maybe try to figure out what do you want.

You want the WAMP Server which allows you to run worpress on your desktop.

Install PHP 5 Apache MySQL on Windows : WampServer
