I have a blog called 'The Flirt Master' I have the all in SEO plug fiotted and working but it seems nearly dead. I was told by a guru that after a week I would see traffic.

I am looking for ways to get the all illusive traffic to it.

Please review it, ask me questions about it and help me get it traffic please.

Don't know how to set up a hyperlink to it in here but the URL is

the flirt master . com / blog

Put it like that as I can posted links yet. If you want to se it just remove the spaces. Sorry for the inconvience.

The main url is a squeeze page.

Looking forward to any help I get.

    Hi,

Where are you expecting to get this traffic from?

What traffic methods have you tried?

    If you're looking for high search engine ranking - you have a couple of problems;

your site is in frames - not easily read by search engine bots

your title is the name of your website - needs to be focused to a particular keyword phrase

You don't get traffic from a plugin. You get traffic from social bookmarking your site, writing articles with your link in the resource box, position in serps, etc.

Once you build it, the work has just begun. You have to work to get traffic.

Thank you for the feed back.

What are frames? I have no idea at all. If search engines ignore them how do I get rid so the search engines can see them?

Yes I do post articles, and write in forums. Tried social bookmarking it took up so much time that hardly anything else got done. Any suggestions on this issue being resolved?

Your server is resetting ... not loading at this time. I did a trace-route to make sure it wasn't coming from my ISP. you may want to talk to your hosting company to see if there is an issue.

I just checked out your site. My initial reaction is that it is hard to read. The dark gray small font on the gray background just gets blurry after awhile, imo.

    Opt-In Page

5 tips for touching a woman that quickly creates attraction-(Rule #32). A simple trick to have her always think of you- (Rule #26) ...

(the above is how google has you currently indexed)

You could definately use some optimization.

How did you set up your AIO SEO plug in? Can you post a screen cap of your settings?

What keywords are you targetting? Use that in your page title. Also a couple of related keywords in your description wouldn't go astray.

The squeeze template you're using could do with some custom graphics to entice people to opt-in. In it's current state, it's not very inspiring. Perhaps you could use some pictures of beautiful women to help entice your niche to opt-in?

Let us know how you get on

Sorry myrtleian, that's about as far away from the truth as you'll ever get.

First things first - your keyword phrase choices... how many people are actually looking to type in 'flirt master' into a search engine? Umm, not that many... I checked google adwords and got 58 exact searches for last month from Australia (my area) and 480 globally. I then did a quick "exact match" search in Google and got 7,420 results (2.5 Million non exact match which is the way most people search). Ranking higer though was flirt mastery (notice the y).

Conclusion - wrong choice of primary key phrase.

And that's just for starters - sorry, but it would take me hours to go through the whole thing for you. Unfortunately, no matter what you've been told, your site is not currently set up for key phrase optimization.

Tell you what - have a look at this online video... it will give you the beginnings of the overview that you need. It's from one of my seminar products so I can't give you the whole thing, but it's a start.

Excellent Video Paul. The only thing I can say here is that I have been shown that worrying about the "meta" tags now days is not really a big deal. Most search engines aren't too worried about them. Although I could be wrong too lol!

However, again, as with al things, it's opnly "about half a dozen" that make the biggest difference.

Keep in mind that Google is not the only engine out there. In many cases, especially for niche markets, there are smaller (what you might call) sub-search engines or databases that don't change anywhere near as much as the giants. Many of the meta still apply.

PS. Just had a thought... I've recently converted to Wordpress. In that I use the All in one SEO plugin - when I upload a new page / post, it gets picked up by Google the same day and sent to me in my Google Alerts - but the "description" in Google Alerts is different to the "description" that shows up in Google Search Results! The description that shows up in the alerts is the one that I put in using the plugin in the 'meta description'. Interesting.

The point - cover *all* the bases.
I fully agree with that Paul! It is best to cover all the bases.

The easiest way (and the best overall long term strategy)... would be to study and learn some basic SEO concepts.

Once you have that down. You'll understand what causes search engines to give preferential treatment in the SERPs.

Internet marketing and SEO go hand in hand.

Find a hungry market and feed 'em what they want. This is my basic internet marketing strategy in a nut shell.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but illusive traffic will be of only very limited value, though it can be very good at fooling people into believing that it's of value. Elusive traffic is a much better bet for you, really.
Alexa, definite wombat overtones but very, very funny...lol.

The site is not loading for me right now either.

When you created this site did you have a list of keywords and have any idea what type of traffic they could deliver?

Was the guru also peddling the product?

    For SEO,

Step1: keyword research - you are in dating niche, so you should research your searcher behaviors on how they do the searches.

    1. You can use Google trend to find their trends on how they use the keywords.
    2. or you can use Google keyword tools external to do your research

Once you have some ideas on what your searches on typing in their keywords, you can now test those keywords by doing advertising with PPC. You must be careful on this. This is basically tells if those keywords are profitable or just bunch of freebie seekers

Step2: after you have found your keywords, you can then optimize using so called on page SEO and offpage SEO that is link building.

on page basically means you include the keywords on the title, the meta tags and the content on the page you are trying to rank.

This will give you some ideas, but unfortunately SEO is rather confusing especially for newbies. So I will suggest you to study it with a guidance program called SEObook, com which is coached by an industry expert called Aaron Wall. Which many members in the forums have already got a copy or joined his program.

Of course there is another way, which you hire an SEO consultant and probably coach you to do this...

I can show you my results in Google and offer you the guidance if you like... Of course I will provide my case studies and screen shot proofs if you like.

Ok since it seems that you are fairly new to this I am just going to make a very brief post outlining some basics.

    1. Keywords- select keywords that have adequate search volume using the "exact match" feature within the Google Keyword Tool.

    2. Write articles linking back to your website. Also go in forums related to your niche and make informative posts that offer value.

    3. SEO/backlinking- the articles/forum posts will link back to your website. You should also submit your articles to high PR directories (ezinearticles, goarticles, etc.) and build backlinks to those articles.

This is how you set up "residual traffic machines" so you can focus on other aspects of your business, and not have to spend all of your time on traffic generation.

I looked at the site and wondered where did you ever get that URL. What keyword research did you do? Did you consider that not many people would ever think of typing in flirt master? Did you get any backlinks through writing other blogs and articles and linking it? Did you do on page and off page SEO? You have to drive the traffic. You can have the best site in the world with the best product but if you don't get people there, how will anyone get your product.

I'm with everybody who's telling you that you have to go back to square one and do some serious keyword research. No matter what SEO/SEM method you plan on using, you have to know what keywords your niche is searching for and from the looks of it, it's unfortunately not flirt master. Good luck to you!

I can't get this site to load or even find you in Google, and most of the comments are pretty spot on, but based on your market, here are a few questions to ask yourself. These give you a good idea of the steps you need to take to get moving in the right direction, and put you far ahead of your many competitors...

    1) If you COULD get traffic, how much would it be worth to you on a per-click basis?

    2) Based on your research from SpyFU and other sources, how much does PPC traffic actually cost for your niche?

    3) If you haven't gotten as much traffic as you need from a reliable traffic source to establish solid metrics, how much are you willing to spend in testing to get your sales letter converting?

If you want to build a nice business in this niche, you really aren't going to be able to rely on SEO or free traffic methods, you are going to need to "pay" the man

    Jonathan

PS: BTW, I actually like FlirtMaster.com as a domain, it could make a nice brand.

I know I'm going against the grain here, but because I'm a cheap-skate I've got a domain with a non-descript URL and I build numerous niche sites on that domain using the non-descript URL as the prefix to each site.

For my serious sites I just buy cheap targeted domain names and point them to the specific sites and find they get listed very well with Google and provide regular FREE Targeted traffic.

Does anyone else use this cheap method and get similar results??
