What's Your Profitable Traffic?

Just curious what people will say - so we all know that traffic is king, blah blah blah, but I'm curious what types of traffic people find most profitable in their business. I mean, PPC is easy (though expensive), articles are time-consuming...but in the end, what's actually paying out for you?

I advertise on a small platform where I can pay daily rates for banner ads. I spent $5 today and I have received nearly 1000 visitors thus far by carefully targeting my ad campaign. Adsense seems to boom for me on Fridays...

My most profitable traffic (highest converting) comes from my contributed content to already established authority sites in the niche. I use this method exclusively the first couple weeks to pull quick sales that will keep coming as I move on. One of my niches converts at 20% for these leads.

Behind that, just normal article marketing gives me the most profit in the long run. Usually not at first, but I will start to see sales months down the road that add up.

Now if you're talking about getting the largest paycheck from 1 act to get traffic, I would definitely say adswaps are killer. The conversion rates drop, but you can get 1000 people to look at your offer in a matter of minutes.

My most profitable visitors at the moment are coming from videos... probably because they tend to already be presold by the time to get to my sites. It's mostly Youtube traffic, but other video sharing sites and podcasting sites contribute a little as well.

My traffic comes from Google, and I love it for it's laser-targeted visitors.

But remember: What works for another, may not work for you.

My most successful traffic also comes from Google. My site is the #1 search result for multiple keywords so that is obviously the most targeted traffic, and it converts the best.

Adswaps cause no matter the size of your list you can find people to adswap with.
The best part about it is that it's free and effective.

Since no one has said it I have to kick in the obvious- My list. Build your list and it will be your most profitable traffic. Nothing else should come close. You've built the relationship, you add value. These should be your best most profitable buyers.

Twitter traffic is converting very well for me. We can concentrate on any source but we need to have more targeted traffic to go on well with our product or service..

Article marketing works well for me. I simply send these people to a squeeze page, and build a list in various niche markets. whatever your traffic source, make sure that you are building a list in your market or niche.

Over time this will become your most profitable source of traffic.
