Video Sales Pages and Upsell Pages -- Work on All Connections?

If I rig up a video or upsell video sales pitch -- is safe for people with slower speeds?

Or can pretty much anything watch video now-a-days?

And what is the best format to make the video in so it streams on all connections?

    Dial-up won't respond well to video. In the U.S. I think the penetration of broadband is over 90% so most will be able to watch your videos.

    Your video will eventually stream on slow connections but they'll probably leave if there's no text for them to read unless they're determined to watch the thing.

    How about offering a link to a text-based Upsell Salesletter?

    Those with broadband can watch the video, while the dial-ups can read the text. Best of both world.
