Why Does Everyone Here Spend So Much Time On All This?

I have been watching this forum for quite a while now and all I really see here is post after post of people doing everything which is going to set them up for FAILURE.

They fail to realize that in order to succeed here...All they have to do is to figure out the fastest way to go from point A to point B. Everything in between doesn't really matter.

For example- I see so many threads of people setting up new blogs...Back linking them like crazy for months and then feel disappointed when they don't see the desired results.

But they fail to see something here...Getting links to your own site and getting it ranked does work...But it won't get you results fast. Specially if it's a new site with no page rank (And I know you could get ranked for some long tail low competition keywords but that won't happen every single time).

You could be looking for anywhere from 3-6 months to see some real traffic come in.

Where as...You could submit an article to a high page rank article directory...And get ranked literally overnight if you do proper keyword research. (Now I am not saying it would happen for everyone but if you are good with SEO and can get some quick backlinks to your article with proper keyword density...You can easily get ranked).

And here is the great thing- IMMEDIATE TRAFFIC...IMMEDIATE SALES...INSTANT MONEY.

Once you have that cash flow coming in...You can easily do your own site side by side or even outsource it since now you have some money to invest.

And this is just one example. I can go on and on with how a lot of people here complicate things when there are simpler ways to do it.

If you truly want to grow in this business then you have to figure out the fastest way to get from point A to point B. That's all. Stop trying to get too much into the details which you might feel is necessary but it reality only acts as an obstacle.

    aah, but getting results is not the problem - many people have made a dollar but not had a system where they know how to repeat it.

      That basically comes down to an inner emotional issue more than anything else. If something works...It's not hard to scale it up. For example- If article marketing works for you....You just need to figure out ways to outsource it properly.

        I agree in part. However, there are times when due to lack of funding, it is not easy to do or may have to wait. Leveraging is not always the easy.

          True...But there are ways you can leverage without the money. It doesn't take money to make money...It takes a bit of psychology 101 to make money. But then...I won't go into much detail here...That's a whole new thread in itself.

    By this, do you mean getting your article ranked or your site ?

    I agree with you on this issue. Ultimately it is great to have your websites ranking high in the search engines, but it is a much longer and more tedious process. By submitting articles to the popular article directories, seeing where they land, and then backlinking them you can get some high rankings for keywords with good search volume.

    I am in the process of pushing a single article back to the top of Google. It has fallen to the second page, but at one time it was listed #2 and was making me around $600/monthly.

    Imagine having 100 of these

    Ok, Would I be right in thinking this really comes into its own with info products rather than physical products that are being sold worldwide to every Joe every day unless you have a very niche physical product.

    I havent tried article marketing with any conviction.

      It can definitely work for physical products too...Put it this way. A guy searches "Best tummy burning supplement". You can write an article with that keyword...Get some backlinks on it and actually get it ranked on the front page and thus make sales. So it works with both info and physical products. It's all about how creative you can get.

    I agree with you: there's nothing like article marketing (done right) for almost instant free traffic. I'd suggest anyone starting out splits there time between things that will help in the short-term (article marketing) and things that will work in the long-term (SEO, content creation, building relationships with potential affiliates etc.).

    All very good points. What I feel the problem is that most people are selling very low commission products or Google Adsense. I make a few hundred dollars per month from Adsense and some Affiliate products but the big bucks for me come from selling Internet Education to people and businesses. There is huge market of both of those jumping online and when you can assist them with their problem, it can be monetized at a very high level.

      I suspected article marketing could be powerfull after submitting 1 article (actually a document) to a document site and recieving 40 hits over 24hrs from the document. I never did manage to see if any converted.

      I might give this another try as part of a linkwheel campaign and actually work to make them stick, Im just loathe to backlinking someone elses site.
