Brain Tracey - 10 Secrets to Lifelong Success
I wanted to share this with everyone here because the last 3 weeks I have been on this
learning spree, and some of the things that I have learned have been really profound.
This presentation is really great because I feel it reafirms our desire for success, and shows us
that by continuing to learn and applying what we learn, are the true keys to our success.
I am going to give you all the link in a moment, but before I do I would like to share what I
learned from this presentation.
1. Failure is a sign of success.
I believe this, and brian talks about it for a bit. If you are afraid of failure then you must
be afraid of success. Every failure brings you closer to success, and so we should not be
afraid of failure, but embrace it and learn from it.
If I told you that all you had to do was fail 9 times, so that your 10th attempt would be
wildly successful, how hard would you work to get those 9 failures out of the way?
2. You have probably heard the term "Winning Edge". Well when I hear the word edge, I
see the blade of a knife. The blade is not very wide, the width of a blade is very small.
Yet this is all you need to succeed. A small edge on your competition and you win the
match.
3. Provide excellent service and or products. The ultimate goal here is so when your
customers require service, they come to you first, they come to you again, and bring their
friends.
I don't even think I want to comment on this, I want to leave it as pure as it is and not
