What Types Of Links Are Best?

Hey All,

I'm just wondering what types of links are best for getting your website pages ranked highest in organic search results.

There are so many different methods and systems, I feel confused by it all. Say you were only using one method, which would produce the best results?

For instance, if you only used Linkvana to attain backlinks, would that be better than only using article marketing. Or, say, only using Web 2.0 sites (blogger, wetpaint, etc.) links vs. article marketing.

I understand that a lot of people are going to say that a mixture of all these is probably best. However, if you only had time to focus on one area for links, which would it be?

Thanks for helping out a noob!!

Mark

I agree that a mixture of strategies is good. Also, it is important not to automate the task of getting links. This is probably the most common mistake people make.

      Hi Mark,

I'm second to mixing the opportunities. I use article marketing and apply what Angela Edwards offers, so I suggest you visit: Build your backlinks TODAY!

It's always best to use every possible traffic source that you can.

Some people are able to get more traffic than other people using a specific method that they like.

Find a traffic generation method that you like and are good at, then expand from there into other traffic generation methods such as article marketing.

Absolutely, another big mistake people make is trying to do too much of one thing. Often the result is an overall low quality of links as one strategy is overused.
