Hi All,

Market or Park It? Here is the site: I don't have enough posts to post the link pertaining to the question. Please see my signature link as this the website I am speaking of.

Newbie here with a question or two. First of all, I purchased this information package in August of 2009 and have done nothing with it since. I have the domain registered and hosted, but honestly have no clue to check if there was any traffic to it and I know there have been no sales. I was thinking of parking it to try and not have it be a total loss.

Ok, my questions are of course market or park it? Am I able to change the keywords once the domain is registered and set up? Am I able to revamp the site completely into something I am more interested in?

Again, any input would be greatly appreciated. I know flipping it would not be an option being it has been present since 2009 with no revenue, mostly because I have done nothing with it and honestly I am not interested in doing anything with it unless I can erase everything that is there now and revamp the whole thing. Thanks for any and all input in advance. The more I read here, the more I am realizing the money I invested in this particular site was a waste, but I could be wrong and if I am please point that out to me. I am here to learn and contribute as I learn as much as I can.

Thanks in advance to all you wonderful Internet Marketers out there that are nice enough to share a little critique with a newbie.

Jolette

Any web site you can market it. Why park it?

Am I able to change the keywords once the domain is registered and set up?
You can change keywords, layout, title etc. to your need.

Am I able to revamp the site completely into something I am more interested in?
Sure you can. Get a host and move your site there and start building your site.

Thank you for your kind response. Now comes the learning curve, but just reading the posts in the forum alone should guide me in the right direction.

      Thanks again!!

          Thanks for the feedback!

Can anyone share with me what hosting service they feel allows them the best service?

          Again, thanks in advance!

I use hostgator because they have very good 24 hour support and you can get different packages - depending on home many sites you want.

I've used hostgator and bluehost. They both are good from my experience.

I vote market - but if you're not interested in the product you currently have loaded then switch it to something else. With that domain you have lots of options. Invest in some hosting or just redirect the domain onto an affiliate link and build traffic that points directly to the sales page of the other's persons product.

    Good luck

I use hostgator and about four others. It's all pretty much the same for me anymore.

I'm going to be the voice of doom and skepticism.

The site says you have been teaching people about internet marketing for over 10 years.

Clearly, from your post anyway, that isn't true and it seems unlikely to me that you really do know how to put "$100-300 a day directly into your pocket " otherwise you wouldn't be worrying about what to do with one site.

I'm saying this because I have a feeling that site contravenes the new FTC regulations.

In other words (and to be totally blunt, sorry) that site is an outright lie.

I suggest you start again. Write a REVIEW of a product you have used, or at least write ABOUT the product - but don't pretend to be someone that you aren't

I realize this thread is over a year old, but here I am.

You could not be more dead on! I bought this product with resell rights, yet no clue what to do with it. I was and still am somewhat a noob to all of this, but learning heaps from this forum...thank you to all the ladies and gents!

I have since let go of this site and started from the beginning, which IMO is a much wiser move for me.
