Low Graphic Browser

I need to be able to be more productive at work and need a browser that does not display graphics. Is there a browser that leaves off all the graphics, i.e. banner ads, jpg's, etc. so that you're by and large just left with text??

    Not sure of the program but isn't there a plugin which stops banners popping up?. Also I wouldn't recommend blocking jpgs etc since that will mess up websites and may make them harder to read.

      I need more than just blocking pop ups. I need all the graphics eliminated.

      I read a lot of technical web sites. I don't need the banner, ad stuff 90% of the time. In fact, I don't even need the jpgs.

      The other 10% I can catch at home.

    You can usually go into the options section of most browsers and make it so that no images are loaded.

    If you want to really just deal with text and nothing else, use the Lynx browser.

        If anybody is interested, I did the following in FireFox:

        1) Disabled javascript, 2) disabled image loading and 3) made the font smaller.

        On a technical web site, it really does not look like I"m browsing. Very nice...
