Well, in my experience with this niche, I would advise to look for greener pastures.

I had a weight losss website that I let go recently. Just couldn't get it to rock. Maybe you can do better, but that is my advice.

This market is wide open if you know how to tap in to it.

Health and Fitness Market is in the top ranks and definitely a lot of high powered marketers in the game, so when just relying on a few marketing tools or being small time in that area could prove fruitless.

In my opinion it's a good idea to rewrite the content and post it on the 2.0's.

The weight loss market is very competitive, but if you set a plan of action and work extra hard you can and will make it. AS for your content, I recommend always rewriting your content and trying to make it as unique as possible. Although contrary to common beliefs, there is no penalty for duplicate content, it really will not do much benefit to your site. The more original and QUALITY content you have the better off you will be. This goes for both your on site SEO and your article writing and distribution.

Good luck on trying to get into the weight loss category. The competition is enormous.

I agree with what JRCarson said:

...rewrite the content and post it on the 2.0's.

People that say that it's fruitless and to find another market aren't really looking at the bigger picture, all due respect fellow Warriors.

The truth is this: Anybody that started a campaign on a big niche was at the bottom at one point or another. Some climb faster than others. In ANY niche there is a way in. You just have to think outside the box.

I wouldn't use the exact same content, sometimes Google is picky about that, but if you want to change it a bit, just go through and change a few words each sentence, enough to make it semi-unique. Google doesn't need as unique of content as you think. You'd be amazed how many articles get flagged as duplicate content, that aren't, just because of the sheer SIZE of the internet.

    Hope this helps!
