htaccess wordpress h4p problem, need some advice

Hi all,

Been a long time since i posted here.

I am creating a new wordpress blog, and I have created it with h4p. I also have a hostgator account but seem to have lost the reseller info when my site got behind in fees, and was reestablished.

I have been drivng my own, (that i own ice cream truck.) I want to create a cross from my website stuff to my summer job. ) I have a built in market of moms and kids to market in the winter too.

Anyhow those are both other posts with suggestion questions.

When I try to redirect my main site to my blog address, the articles in my blog come up as doubled. with two http:// complete urls behind each other in the address window. I know this isn't the way it is suppose to be.

I came up with 6 issues of this being addressed in the old forum on google but when I hit the url it says page not found.

Now the weather is turning cold, I want to get a step by step plan to pursue to have everything running smoothly and outsourcing if necessary to stay on top of it next spring when I am out of the house for long hours.

Yes, it is like a job, but it isn't because I enjoy driving, kids, beautiful homes and yards, and being out in the nature and warm weather. I plan on combining the both of best worlds.

You can see a pic of me in my ice cream truck from the link in my sig.

Laurie

In Google, click the cached link OR you can search the old forum at: The Warrior Forum

Before you do that though, double check your site URL in the WP config as it might be listing the http part twice.

The problem was the permalink. For others: you don't want to put your whole site URL in the permalink structure. If you don't want to use the defaults, then click on of the other options to see how it should be set up and then change it to your liking.
