hi everyone

Im new to the forum and would like to say hello to everyone and to pose this question.

if you had unlimited amount of traffic what would you do to monetise your website ?

I've thought about adwords, selling affiliate items, pay per view, surveys but what will make a bucket of money ? what would you do ?

    With flood of traffic , you've hit the golden goose and could try anything, but... it depends also on the quality and targeting of that traffic. 1000's of visitors looking for free stuff are not interested in buying high ticket items

    I would make a product specific to that market and craft a killer salesletter. When you use things like adsense to monetize a site you are settling for pennies instead of dollars.

    Setup an account at Survey Monkey and create a survey page. Find out as much information about your market as possible. Find out their needs, wants, desires, fears and then create an information product that addresses those points.

    yep while you research the market with surveys and general competition research (what they sell). Start putting affiliate products on the site - anything you think is related.

    I certainly would not totally rely on adsense i would tend to spread the load and add maybe clicksor aswell both can be good revenue earners especially if you have a hugh amount of traffic.

    I read an e-book once called google arbitrage master or some thing similar and that stated some adsence paid £10-£20 per click if you get the right amount of traffic ?

    is this just pie in the sky ?

    I get all sorts of clicks on my adsense sites. Its weird. I'll have 6cents up to 30cents generally, and then out of the blue I'll get a $1.70 click. Wish I knew what keyword that was for.

    you can yes.. But as some of the other said i wouldnt rely just on adwords. You could maybe try some cpa or other affiliate offers

    You need to identify if there is a market, then identify what the market is and then develope a product that will fill the void. Then set it all up on autopilot or automate every aspect of the business.

    Then you can sit on the beach with your laptop. Traffic is the number one element to a successful internet business.

    If you have that solved, develope a product that is targeted to your audience.

      I like the idea of adsense but I generally leave this as a last resort, for example if my site has built up traffic and I have had no luck in promoting my product or affiliate product then use the traffic with adsense.

      Then see how much it makes over the month and decide whether its worth keeping. If not sell it for cash.

    Depending on the niche of the website, I would write/create my own ebook and sell it the website and well as try any number of other items to sell, especially if I had "unlimited" amount of traffic.
