phpLD has been in need of a slogan for a long time, and all we have now is the logo.

PHP Link Directory Script

I would love to come up with something that either conveys what phpLD is all about in a few words, or something that conveys how people can make money using phpLD. I may choose two slogans and rotate them (splitting the prize) if I can't choose just one.

    David, I would skip a slogan and instead focus on a USP statement like "World's Most Popular Directory Script". Something that adds "proof" to the name and product itself.

    For example, I ran a Google search for "powered by phpld" and "powered by phpmydirectory" and guess what...

    You have 944,000 results, they only have 302,000. Use those numbers to help establish the buyer's choice in phpld and a solid "slogan".

    "3 out of 4 webmasters use PHPLD"
    "75% of Webmasters Pick PHPLD"
    "Trusted by 944k Directories"

    Something like that

      If it is the most popular script out there, why not use something like, "The #1 directory script will get you to #1" something along them lines .

    Good point about emphasizing us being the leading script by far. That is true. I may rotate that with something else. Sometimes I wonder if everyone knows what a "directory script" really is and that is one thing I was thinking about too. Any thoughts?

      I know what it is but I don't know the benefits of running a directory, they just seemed pointless to me but I am obviously wrong :p.

      I wouldn't worry about that at all. I think it's pretty standard info (even for newbies).
