Looking for lots of opinions

Hello My name is Christy.

I've been working with internet marketing for almost a year now.
I'm looking for a new and profitable niche, and venue.

Where would I look for information on what's hot? I've done some searching, and yes this is apart of my research, what would you suggest?

Here's a little about me.
10 years of awards for sales experience
Internet for 1 year
Experience in Adult Education
Experience and passion in Fitness and health, (although feels like a very over saturated market)
Masters in Project Management, but very little passion for it.
Fairly tech savvy
Love Travel, have visited several countries, eager for more
Love Movies
Love Food, but still concerned about saturation

Considering
Turnkey websites
More Blogs, prefer this to article marketing
Domains
Website building etc.

I've invested quite a bit of money and been taken for a few rides despite research.

I know there are some great experts here, so I'm looking for opinions from experts on where the internet is going as a business. What's hot and what's upcoming that's hot?

Thank you for your time.

I look forward to your responses.

Christy

What do you mean by "what's hot"? Are you wondering what is selling like wild-fire these days?

Take a gander at the Warrior Special Offer section and look for anything that has 300+ comments. Those are superior.

Check Google Trends And Ebay Also! Also subniches might prove to be more beneficial to you monetarily. You might also consider creating a membership site on your particular niche.

I'd forget about what's "hot" and focus on what's "evergreen." Thinsg that are hot today can be ice cold by this time tomorrow, and you don't want to invest a ton of time and money into a site that becomes irrelevant overnight based on the whims of the general public.

Instead, look at the topics that never go out of style: dating, marriage, kids, divorce, weight loss, buying/selling...these areas will allow you to produce a continual income, assuming you come up with a decent product.

I too would look at the larger niches that will always be around. The way I do it is drill right down into a niche and pick just one small part of it. Do my keyword research and take it from there. There are a lot of micro Niches out there that are still untapped

Well if you really love fitness and health, even though you correctly noticed it's a saturated market, with a sales background you could probably compete.

The markets you listed that you're considering are probably just as competitive so it's a horse apiece there. If you're gonna go with tough markets, at least go with the ones you like or you probably won't last long.
