How much is EZA paltinum status worth?

Hello everyone:

Pretty new to the forum and have a quick question. How much value does achieving EZA platinum status have for someone writing articles. I am about 15 submissions away. I will continue submitting but am wondering how someone looking for an article writer looks at that status.
Thanks.

It certainly gives you bragging rights. Use it in your own marketing
if you're trying to sell your article writing services. Otherwise... I dunno,
most people wouldn't even know what it means.

I think it is worth alot more if it is spelt right

platinum Not paltinum (as in your title)
The value makes you look a bit better than a basic article writer.

Depends upon who you ask .. To me it is worthless, I much rather post of 100% ad free sites, there actually are some web 2.0 sites that allow articles to be posted and the sites are 100% ad free... Many of them easily outrank EZA..

EZA platinum status is a high value for a Writer. You can make money with this status by opening Article Writing Service. This status can convince people that your articles are good articles.

I would rather keep them to a small group, which I share with my members some of these. If I posted them out in the open then I could just imagine the SpaMarketing that would be going on and then the sites would become useless...

Yup. But is Intrepreneur part of your group? He is a young man from Ireland on here, and he also has recently been making posts saying not to post to EZA (alone) but rather to put the articles on your own website.

Was just wondering if you took him on board too...or if he simply has decided that on his own, but either way, he is starting to think along those lines that you do lately, so maybe he would/could be welcomed as well?

          ---

As for the platinum status, at least you don't have a limit when you want to submit articles....so then you don't always have to wait for them to "upgrade" your account every single time, and if you're a bulk submitter, that's the benefit.

I believe that platinum status is well worth the time and effort. Several times in the past I had articles on page #1 of Google just from Ezine along with out any supporting backlinks. They also get the articles reviewed a whole lot faster with this designation. Hope that helps. Cheers

WRONG. Platinum status has NOTHING to do with your ranking or backlinks, and also won't get you listed in the "most viewed" or "most published" category. The only thing that will get your articles indexed, viewed, and anything else is YOUR OWN hard work, not a little star beside your name.

It simply means that you can submit as many articles as you want, without them limiting your account.

Articles only get approved faster when you pay for a PREMIUM membership. I think that so many people are confusing the two, because they sound similar: platinum/premium

But there is a DIFFERENCE between the two, and even EZA themselves has had to describe this both in their blog and in your user interface when you log into your EZA account.

Not to burst your bubble, bit I have had a basic, basic plus, platinum AND premium account on EZA, and Platinum status authors definitely have quicker approval times than basic plus, whether this is officially stated or not.

Sure, but PREMIUM members get the QUICKEST approval times, regardless of what other status there is. I can throw in an article and have it approved within an hour or less. Can you do that when you simply just have "platinum status"? I don't think so...at least not every time you submit.

Also, if they always approved everyone's articles quickly, regardless of whether or not they paid for that service, they wouldn't really have a way of persuading anyone to purchase a premium account in the first place. LOL, so they have to be slow on purpose.

Erm I feel the status will make the author feel better and shows that the author is a better article writer.

I personally think that it will be more practical to fully leverage on the same piece of content into different format and distributing them widely across the internet.

Status means nothing if there is no traffic and backlinks back to your website.

    Just my 2 cents

It has a low value, because you can pay an article writer $30 to with 10 articles of suitable quality and as a side-effect you would get platinum status. So the resell value of a platinum account I would say is $5, maybe $10 max.

In EZA, a paltinum means Unlimited Submissions. If you have such an account, then you can make use of your account to promote your products, services or sites (blogs) with article marketing.
You will benefit a lot from EZA. Good luck!

I have been writing articles for clients for several years now and am not a Platinum author at EZA on my own account. So I would say that it doesn't matter.

It would matter more if you were offering submission service along with the writing.

It has very little value to me simply because most 'writers' get PS from EZA. You'd have to be doing something pretty naff not to achieve PS.

If it were a more select achievement, then it would have more value!

Getting a Platinum status may not be that easy for non-US writers, I don't
know why (yes, even if you outsource your article writings to US writers).
For me, I got Basic Plus again and again, using 2 different accounts, to
the point that I was nearly giving up.

I got mine for $50 from another forum.

EDIT: Platinum status accelerates the approvals from 3-4 days to just 1 day.
I found $50 incredibly cheap for that kind of privilege.

I'm really not concerned about what it SAYS about you, the biggest benefit of platinum is that your articles get reviewed a hell of a lot faster and they are usually more willing to let an author who has proven themselves "platinum quality" be promotional in their articles.

  • I have been submitting articles to Ezine though not a platinum member yet. I am not sure if there real adavntages but since Ezine is strict on duplicate content, I believe there are significant advantages like Ezine going overboard to advertise you to website owners who may want to use your articles (provided they keep the resource box intact). Having a platinum status I guess gives you priority than ordinary writers. NicheProfits provides all its members with articles to submit, but I am forced to rewrite them througly as Ezine is very strict. However since I am provided with ready made articles I am submitting a bit faster and hope to be platinum member.

Maybe this is not the place to do self promotion and I would remove the affiliate link from my sig ....

Ready Niche Investor, you should really list to TheRichJerksNet.

This man knows his stuff. Better lose the sig file before you are
        banned for self promotion.

On the platinum status, with articles writers, I really want to
see their work, read the articles they have sunmitted. Only
then would their paltinim status mean anything.

What do the articles he or she has written say about his
expertise, that is the most important thing to me.

I am with EZA for 3 years already and i am still "basic"

Funny, just recently an article of mine got rejected again...means i have to re-do the 20 submission to gain "platinum" all over again. I think i will finally have platinum in the year 2190..if i am lucky.
