--------------------
What Are Domains and Why Are They Important?
--------------------

A domain name is the bit before the .com, .org, .net, .co.uk, etc...

Picking the WRONG domain is a big mistake that many people make when they're just starting a site.

And once it's done, it's practically impossible to fix.

Sites that choose the RIGHT domain name can achieve faster, higher rankings in the search engines - with far fewer links than competitors who have selected poorly optimized domains.

But pick the wrong domain, and getting high rankings (and traffic!) can become a struggle - with more effort, more time and more links required to get the same results.

--------------------
What does Domain Samurai do?
--------------------

Domain Samurai helps you to find high value, highly optimizd domains in your market, in seconds!

- Quickly discover keyword optimized domains in your market that you can register immediately; Send the results of your keyword research straight into the "Domains" module, and find out in seconds what the best SEO optimized domains are for your site.

- Select from 19 domain types (.com, .org, .net etc), add hyphens, prefixes or suffixes - and uncover hidden dynamite domains

- Find profitable Aged Domains in seconds: Connect Domain Samurai to the powerful DomainFace database to automatically search 100,000's of domain sales and auctions; Find dozens of keyword-relevant domains for sale with pagerank, domain age, backlinks and even traffic, in no time.

- See trusted SEO data about Aged Domains at a glance. Sort and filter by Domain Age, PageRank, domain keyword densities, backlinks, indexed pages....

- And much, much more...

Thanks for the tip. Their site was running a little slow probably due to the word getting out. But I did manage to get it downloaded and installed. I've only had it for an hour and I can tell you just from a project I am working on this morning, this is a great tool and definitely not an April Fools joke.

Dexx you beat me to the punch.
I swear by Market Samurai it's a great tool, Domain Samurai is still evolving but i can see it becoming part of my daily routine. Buying aged domains is not new but seems like alot of people still don't know the value of a good aged domain with relevant keywords.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

Well its funny because I had posted a comment on other of their previous blog posts how I thought that a "domain searching" ability based on a Keyword would make the software practically perfect (as other programs had the ability) and it turns out they had been working on a separate program to do just that!

    Those boys know their stuff!

This software isn't free. It is a 7 day trial. You don't find that out till you have finished registering and ready to download. I think it is a little deceptive. I didn't bother to download it as I don't see a lot of benefit to it. I can do the same thing for free with Google and Godaddy. I can't get the expired domains without a little more work, but I don't have a lot of interest in that anyway.

That's not quite correct. It is free.

You're talking about DomainFace, which it links up with. You get the full version for 7 days for free, then if you decide not to pay for it, you just get the basic version of DomainFace, for free. Which does the job.

well... I hope they dont forget about MS further development

and would be great if they could add this function to MS. This way we need to open another software window...

You're not seriously complaining about getting a great free tool? Considering how cheap MS is in the first place, then they give you more software for nothing.

      Some people are never happy

I am not complaining. I just said that I hope they don't "forget" about MS further development and that I would like to have this domain function built in MS - not as an independent software.

About the "free stuff", come on... Ok! it is free. It is cool... but it is a (nice) freebie to tease domainface services.

I don't have nothing against MS and the team behind it. I am a very happy customer of MS!
