The Scoop On Sooper Articles

Hey guys,

I've been experimenting with some different article directories, and I logged into my account over at Sooper articles today to find that I actually have quite a few views of my articles, over 1500 in the last 30 days.

However, I wanted to see the CTR or if they were driving any traffic, and there was only 4 visits to my site in the last 30 days from there. These same articles on EZA have CTR's of 10-35% so I don't think they should be at .01% just because they're on a different site.

Has anyone experienced this or used Sooper articles succesfully in the past? It seems like my views are way inflated. Kind of disappointing really.

    I have never actually tried Sooper articles but I think that the CTR is very very low and I wouldn't have concentrated alot on this directory because it's not worth the hard work.

    I think so too and yes it is very disappointing when someone lies to you like this.

      Has anyone else noticed this? Or does anyone even consider Sooper Articles to be a good directory to use?

    We use it to create backlinks (article marketing primarily for backlinks but in hopes of CTs too) but as far as CTR, I haven't seen an extremely high CTR with Sooper articles, generally fairly low.

    In my opinion, when it comes to article marketing, you need to determine your primary goal - is it for backlinks or CTs or primarily backlinks with hopes of clickthroughs...then start your strategy based on your goals. If you're going for primarily backlinks with the hopes of clickthroughs, then hit 50-100 article sites with your articles so that you're spread around for views and building those backlinks.
