Hello fellow warriors -

I read this article and wanted to share with you all. It is called the Do's and Don'ts of Ad Swapping. It is some good information on the "etiquette" of swapping out ads for Joint Venture runs. We all can learn from this article.

    Don't have time right now though so it will end up being in my bookmarks. I am actually interested in doing adawaps because I think I have a big enough list.

    Good article.

    I think the key is to make sure that you know the person that you are ad swapping with, to make sure that A) they mail back and B) so that you know that their product or service is of high value.

    If done correctly then ad swaps can be great for everyone

    I always sign up on their list right away when considering an adswap. That way I can see first hand what my list is going to be getting prior to accepting the adswap partner.

    It also gives me an opportunity to see how often and what kind of emails they send out after my list subscribes.

    So far, I've been lucky enough to have good partners and they have had valuable things to offer. (one exception of a no-show the other day but I think sometimes people might forget, even though I always email a day ahead to make sure we are still on which I do recommend)
