Question for Those who build "Conduit" Websites

I'm thinking about trying something different and trying out the very popular "conduit" type websites made famous by Chris Rempel. For anyone out there who creates these type of websites, I have 2 questions, which have been holding back from creating these:

1) Is it really considered OK to take a blurb of a testimonial off another site to use on your own site?

In asking this I do realize that credit will be given to the appropriate website.

2) Do the new FTC laws affect this in any way?

Thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to read this. The Warrior Forum has been a blessing to me with all the helpful people here.

    Hey man,

The reason you're not getting any comments on this thread is because (to my knowledge) no one here is a lawyer. You need to look find out for yourself if these things are "OK" or not.

At the very least, I'd suggest getting ahold of Chris' help desk. They're not lawyers either, but I'd be willing to bet they'd be able to tell you what has been "OK" for them so far.

It's a part of the system that has held me back from ever doing anything with it. I do agree with you, it's probably a better question for an attorney.
