to the appearance tab on the left hand side. if you are using a theme, up at the top click widgets, and here you can edit your sidebar. also, you can edit your blogroll by hitting the links tab on the left hand side of your dashboard.

Some questions are theme-specific, so don't expect any useful answers...

    Some possible answers:
    1. Widgets. admin panel > Appearamce > Widgets (for sidebar content)
    2. Image editing program + replacing the original img + editing the theme... (header)
    3. It doesn't make sense. You don't add "tags" to headline, title, and other areas. You add tags to your content on a post by post basis.

Maybe to spend some time inside your WP admin panel, clicking all the options, reading, learning the tool you are using...?
WP has a huge online documentation, plus on every corner you can find zillion tutorial videos. Just search!

Wordpress dot org has thousands of themes you can choose from to change the appearance of your site. Take a look here: WordPress › Free WordPress Themes

You can change the header graphic in the default theme if you want. Start by using ftp software to download the existing header (it might be called something like kubrickheader). Then make yourself another header with the same dimensions and use your ftp software to replace the original one on the site with the one you have designed.

Using a different theme is easiest. You can do this from within your wordpress admin area. Just go to "Appearance" and then "Add new Themes". If you've found one you like on the wordpress site, just type in its name. Or you can search from here.

Once you've added a new theme, just activate it.

By default, most themes show three "phantom" widgets in the sidebar. Go to widgets in the dashboard menu and drag one of your own to the sidebar. This will remove the existing phantom widgets.

"Tags" to make your blog search engine friendly can be added to your posts. Look for "tags". You can also add "categories" and make your pages search engine friendly by changing the permalinks. To do this, go to "settings" at the bottom of your dashboard menu and click on permalinks. Change it to anything other than the default setting. Month and name would be better. If you feel confident with editing the little bit of code it comes up with, just change it to name.

As Istvan says - the best way to learn is by experimenting. Click on some of the options in your dashboard and see what they do.
