This is how I change the color scheme of my theme

Hello everyone,

The other day, I found a really neat Firefox add-on. The add-on is called ColorZilla. I use this tool to help me change the color scheme of my theme (I mostly use the Clean Copy WordPress theme).

An eyedropper will show up in the bottom left hand corner of your browser once the add-on has been properly installed.

Now all you need to do is left click on the eyedropper icon to activate it, once activated hoover the eyedropper over the section of the theme that you want to change. You now want to left click to capture the theme color.

All you need to do know is right click on the eyedropper icon (bottom left hand corner of browser) to obtain the color code. Save this code and open up your themes style.css file. This file can be located via dashboard > Appearance > editor. Once you have the file opened, do a search for the code that the eyedropper gave you. You can now change the theme color to what you want.

Hope this helps,
Gordon
