Does not matter where you live. As long as you speak english, can cook well, and have a camera.

This was my profession prior to IM and still something i am deeply involved in.

I specialize in Louisiana Cuisine and Thai Food

most of my restaurant experience was in thai restaurants

i grew up on louisana and southern cuisine and is what is closest to my heart (LA is my favorite)

Chinese would be next

but i can do a lot of everything. these are just what i know best professorially

let me know what you have in mind and I may be up for grabs

he he i loved the title of this post. Wasn't something i was expecting to find on here. I love to cook but i seriously doubt you would want videos of me and i'm sure you are only looking for people that are not going to set the kitchen on fire!

Hey folk,

Nigerian foods are the best you can get in Africa. And I wouldn't mind cooking any of them for you even on camera.

damn i always thought Somali was the best... but to each is own i guess

@OP - i got your PM but i cannot PM yet so i will answer here. i will have to think about your proposal. im actually out of town right now.. i have a camera where i am now but the kitchen that is available for me here is pretty bad looking (in the ghetto).

also, i dont know if you have ever made a cooking video but theres a bit of work involved. if it is something you do all the time its easier because you have designated places for your camera and proper lighting already figured out.

and you have to measure things that you normally wouldn't and bring out lots of small dishes so each ingredient has its own (more dishes to do)

and potentially redoing any mistake you made (more food cost and time)

and then editing the video

and you have to make sure the food get ate or its a waste of resources.

my point of all this is : the price you quoted is very low and defiantly not worth it IMO

as a chef, my time is simply worth more than that.

as a video editor alone the cost is maybe reasonable

but together... no

on the flip side, i could probably do it just for the hell of it because it would be fun. after the first time if i had everything all figured out it would be much quicker. but the food cost concerns me because most o what i cook would go to waste or be given away (i live alone)

and i know my self. after doing a few of them i would start thinking i would be smarter for me to monitize them on my own than to shoot them for you so i could only be short term asignment

so if you want just a few done... i could very well do them for you... and be on my way. but if you are looking for a regular long term person i cannot.
