After lurking for a long time, I finally signed up to get some advice on a project I am working on. I hate to ask before contributing anyhting else, but here goes. If anyone takes the time to respond, that would be great.

Do you use plr articles? what for?

Do you buy original articles? what for?

Do you re-write articles that you buy?

How did you find these articles?

Are you satisfied with the quality?

what do you pay for articles (plr and original)?

Would you avoid an article because it is too expensive/cheap?

Do you look for a limit in the number of copies being sold?

Once more, thanks to anyone who takes the times to reply to any of these questions and thanks to those who generously give their advice out on the warrior forum.

Yes, for giving away as free reports to my email list or membership sites.

To add in the blogs or website

Do you re-write articles that you buy?

I change them little bit so that they become unique.

How did you find these articles?

    Search in warrior special offer.

what do you pay for articles (plr and original)?

Thanks Francoza, that certainly helps. I'm trying to establish if there is a market for a particular type of plr (although I hate the term plr, which has become synonymous with poor quality, badly spun rubbish).

Nick I completely agree that PLR has become a negative word - if you could rename it that would be great

I personally still buy it though - and use it as the foundation for ebooks and membership courses and autoresponder messages. I also use them for inspiration for articles and blog posts.

I don't have an issue with the whole duplicate content thing so I'd happily post PLR on my own websites - but I've never found any that I'd be willing to just publish. Even the well written stuff seems to have at least a couple of typos or grammatical errors in

I buy plr but only take small parts of it to add to my own stuff. I find alot of it is very poor quality and not much use at all. Repetitive and poorly written, it is often only fit for the bin. LUckily there is occassionally a gem in there, or a piece of information that is worth the membership fee for the plr site I use.

I don't even give it our for free because I do not want to get a reputation for even giving away rubbish. I only want to give qulity content every time, as we all do really. I think there is a danger of getting into the frame of mind that giving anything away for nothing is a good thing. I disagree. I even read or use everything I promote as an affiliate as I do not want to promote a poor standard of work. It is heartening to see so many comments on here along the same lines. Quality is king.

    Enjoy the journey.

Do you use plr articles? what for?

Yes - As search engine and link fodder to build blogs with the purpose of making my proper sites rank better.

Do you buy original articles? what for?

Yes - to use on sites and for link building when it makes sense and I don't have the time or inclination to do them myself.

Do you re-write articles that you buy?

No - I buy them because they're written for me and unique. If they're PLR then they're not worth spending time on.

How did you find these articles?

    Writers on Elance and WF

Are you satisfied with the quality?

    Usually - but sometimes not

what do you pay for articles (plr and original)?

$1 or $2 for PLR, up to $50 for unique.

Would you avoid an article because it is too expensive/cheap?

No - That doesn't make sense.

Do you look for a limit in the number of copies being sold?

    YES!!!
