Hi, since I am taking the can do attitude about things and do things, I posted some bloggs, and for example I posted one about something I know about just a general blog about a particular subject I know about. I guess my question is this would it better to based my blog on my work experience? I plan to drip feed it for a few weeks before trying to add some adsense or commission junction or any other type marketing to it for now. I guess you could say I am putting my original spin on my blog, if you were doing what I am doing what would you do to i guess market it? I want some advice what the next step would be, I been taking action lately everyday in doing something and trying to learn from there, for experience warriors, what would you do? I apperciate any advice in helping me out there.

Thanks
Omar

I'm not sure what you mean by writing about your work experience.

If you want to build and monetize a blog, stay "tight" to your niche...whatever it may be.

Build good content on it...doesn't have to be every single day, but at least 3 or 4 times a week.

For now, spend 80% of your time building content and 20% promoting (link building, bookmarking, article marketing).

Have you done any keyword research related to the topic of your blog? This is especially critical if you plan on using adsense to make an income.

I would definitely put your definitive spin on it, probably 20% of you and 80% of just solid content based on your niche. This gives it a personal touch without being too preachy.
