Blogger posts question

I'm setting up a Blog on blogger as a sort of sample lesson guide on the product i'm selling and i'm making each post a different lesson. Now I want to have several different posts so it looks to google like i'm updating my content, but i need to make it so each new post appears below the older posts in the blog or the lessons will be out of order and won't make any sense. Is there anyway i can do this or will i need to condense it all into one super long post?

There have been a lot of people here on the forum that have had their blogs stopped on blogger. If you type in Blogger into Search you may find the back threads. I personally do not have any trouble with blogger but I would suggest that you use wordpress.

You could try experimenting with the post date and time setting.

Well said Sue mine was deleted a few days ago but I did have it backed up and my new self hosted Wordpress blog is going strong. If you plan on doing a lot of work on this Blog and you have affiliate links, or its a make money online blog play at your own risk Google is on a rampage and might zap all your hard work with the push of a button.

Go with a self hosted Wordpress.org Blog save yourself the anguish trust me!

You can show your older post before by changing the post date and time of post. Just go to Edit Post ---> Post Option ---> Set Date and Time. Here set the time/date of older post to most recent and it will show above.

Changing the dates on all the posts every time you post might work, but remember that your search traffic might land on any post. Readers won't always land on the home page.

For that reason, your parts should be clearly numbered in the subject line, and near the top of each post you should say it's a multi-part series and give links to all the other parts (if there aren't too many) or to the first part and other closely related parts if your series is long.

The internal linking will be good for SEO, too.

That's easy... once you are on the "Post page" look at the bottom of the page on the left hand side for the, "Post Options" You will notice that you have the option of selecting the date and time that each post goes live.

Just stagger your posts to go live when you want.

Sue, I've pulled a lot of those deleted blogs and all of the ones I scanned, the person who lost the account, violated the Blogger TOS. In most cases, it was gross violations.

Actually, it's not a case of playing at your own risk; it's a case of playing by their rules, refusing to do so or failing to do so. I have used both Blogger and Wordpress since 2006 and have never had an account deleted and my blog count is over four figures...

If you read that thread take into account that the person who started it was engaging in flat out spam and got caught red handed but apparently rejected the thought. I even posted two of the accounts that helped to get his account deleted. In his case, I found over two dozen spam links that were linked directly to his blogger account and advised him of such.

The spam was so bad, it raised a red flag with an advertiser, who eventually blocked traffic coming from that link.

Did he learn his lesson? Who knows but here's my point; Blogger is a great platform when used according to their TOS. When you step outside their TOS, you're most likely going to have problems!

Just today I saw a new WF member with a blogger account in his signature. When I followed the link, he had no less than 14 affiliate links directly pointing to his blog. He's on his way to blogger deleting his account and he will most likely start screaming, ranting and raging against blogger and probably even start a thread on the WF about how they unjustly took down his blogger acct for nothing. What a life!

      Some people never learn...

      Some people refuse to learn...

And some people choose to do it their way no matter the consequences
