New Firefox 3.6.3 and Roboform - update problem now solved

A lot of people use Roboform and in case it helps anyone here, I mention a few links which might help people who have problems using Roboform and the new version of Firefox 3.6.3

Basically, I quite merrily upgraded my Firefox browser to the new version 3.6.3 and thought all was fine.

Then I noticed that Roboform wasn't compatible and wouldn't work. Aaaagh!!!

After half an hour of digging around, I found this link on the Firefox / Mozilla site:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/750

In amongst the comments section was a link to the Firefox / Roboform update I needed. That link is here:

http://www.roboform.com/dist/robofor...3.0-frozen.xpi

(Don't click it if you don't need it. A pop up will ask to load the update.)


I am not affiliated with any of these products, I just thought it may save someone the headache I got when I updated Firefox.

    Hi Sam. You can downgrade your Firefox by going here (Index of /pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases) and downloading one of the previous versions. That's what I did when I found that roboform was not working. Of course you will have to uninstall Firefox so you will need to have another browser to work with these.

      Yes, thanks for the data.

      But the reason for upgrading to 3.6.3 is apparently for better security.

      Either way, it will be the last time I do upgrade so quickly, without first checking that all the applications I use are compatible.

    What about Roboform,i prefer use LoginTrap.It's can keep my password and also can protect of theft.

      Roboform not just save your login data..but a lot more than that..
      it's about THE FORM..that's why they called it ROBOFORM
