If You Could Automate Any Part Of Your Business...

What would it be?

I'm working on a list of ideas for my new $10 Tools and would love to know what sort of things you'd want to have automated.

Let's see.. We've tried to automate loads of things with scripts, but some how it always seems to work better with a real live person behind the wheel.

That being said, I guess the best thing someone could make at this point for my business in particular would be some sort of Internet marketing scheduler.

The scheduler would be used mainly to schedule days of work on a certain website. To schedule tasks for either an outsourced employee or your business partner, etc.

The interface would be.. of course.. SIMPLE. SIMPLE. SIMPLE. As easy as inputing your sites, clicking a few buttons for needs to happen, and it's added to the schedule.

Not exactly automated I guess - But I haven't found anything good on the market.

Thanks Joe - I guess I should have stated that automation isn't the only thing these tools will be about

Yes, automation is great, except most tools that are "automated" end up taking more time to deal with errors then doing the task manually.

Sometimes I feel like it's a great gimmick.. Make automated programs that take longer then manual labor.

The only automated tool I've been satisfied with is SENuke - However the price per month is BARELY low enough to justify.

What other tools have you made Chris?

The one in my sig is my first desktop-app with a real purpose behind it. I've been developing for the web since I was a kid though - so I have countless things behind me in that realm, the majority of which was for clients. Intel even had me come out to Cali for a month and do some really cool things for them That was a really great time. Helped make them a lot of money in their new(ish) health division.
