What's your suggestion the best software/method to do this...

I have a site I am trying to get ranking for as quickly as possible.
Although I do have a product/service that I will be selling, I want to
use the rankings to build up my opt-in list so there will not be a money
site per se, but content/articles on the site used to try and build the
list.

I have seen suggestions for software like SEONuke and others, but I'm not
sure what would be best and the most cost effective thing to use.

I prefer to use some form of automation since the time I have available to
work on it is very very limited. Also, I would only be interested in methods
that are white hat.

Since I will only be promoting one site, what would your suggestions be for a
software product that handles getting back links and submitting articles?

Is there a reasonable outsourcing service offered by any warriors to take
this on?

Thanks,

Vince

  • Hello dotVince

You're on the right track. Building a list with your traffic is the best way to get the greatest benefit from your traffic investment. After capturing the email info, it's easy to immediately forward that traffic to an offer page. Not to mention the benefits of your email follow-up series afterwards.

Although search engines are not the only source of traffic, still the key to sustainable long-term traffic is good search engine rankings. And as you know, the lifeblood of good rankings is backlinks. No way around it! Of course, very few of us build backlinks just for the fun of it. It's a necessity! That's why outsourcing your linkbuilding is a practical step.

SENuke is a pretty powerful tool and I have used it some. For promoting just 1 site though, there are more cost effective ways. I believe curent pricing of this tool is $67/month for the basic version and $127/month for the full version.

You also mentioned outsourcing which is a great idea. Outsourcing your linkbuidling does allow you to concentrate on more profitable avtivities while enabling you to get a variety of link types.

I wish you success with your site promotion efforts and please don't hesitate to contact me if you want further information...

I write quite a bit on automation in the site in my
sig. When I started IM the whole way automation
was done was different. Many of the methods
that worked then don't work now.

SEO is always tedious - there's no way around it. Some
methods are more tedious than others and automation
can help. The most important thing is to do enough
SEO backlinking to have a real effect on traffic.

These days, viral marketing with software giveaways
is one of my favorite methods. Much of it can be
automated and after you've done it a few times
it takes less than an hour to launch a viral software
to over 100 directories, many of which have high PR.
I use software to handle the submission part of it.

Directory submission can be good too. It's a one
time thing. If the directory has a captcha that's
way better. Directories without them are just
likely to be full of millions of crap links from
spammers. I submit, with a tool, to something
like 350 captcha directories, and in my experience
it's a good thing to do for sites where I have
          good content.

Automated article submission is good too, but it's
a little tricky to get the software set up right,
no matter what you use, because most directories
require account sign-up, verification, and have
different submission standards that, if not
followed, can lead to your articles not getting
published or published as unreadable junk content,
which still may provide valid backlinks, but
makes them worthless for attracting human
traffic. I have a course in development on best
          practices for doing this.
