What about solo ads/eZines?

I'm thinking about buying solo ads, i.e. buying ads on other people's list. The only resources I know about that deal with solo ads are ezine-r-us.com and soloadsonly.com

Do any of you have experience and/or recommendations for buying solo ads?

    JV sub-forum (part of WF) is another place where a) you can buy solo ads in other people's lists or b) you can make an ad swap with another marketer.
