Use This Technique to Promote...Without Promoting

Okay, so I just had a thought. Some may already use this technique, if so correct me if I'm wrong in my assumption. Please note I haven't used this technique myself, but thought I'd share all the same.

Instead of a review, why not list the ways the product can be used to improve what ever it is its supposed to deliver on (i.e. Traffic Dragon 2.0 [totally made that up] made to increase traffic to any website).

When using this technique its important that these are your own suggestions, not just a copy and paste from the sales pitch. If you've purchased the product you're promoting (which I hope we all for the most part do) share with your viewers how this product or service has been used by you to get max results.

Don't hold back! Let your viewers see that this product works and the creator (product creator or person giving the service) actually does not do it justice. Make sure to point out what the creator may have missed in his/her sales page.

I really think this could work a little better than a traditional review. What do you guys think??

**I guess my wording is a bit off...here's an example.

Lets say you have a software that was intended for one purpose and focuses on that purpose and that purpose only, but you find a new use...I guess I should be encouraging creative usage versus explaining benefits.

So...it's kind of like a review without labeling it as a review? Should work.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

Exactly. I think it would work too, but I have no clue. It was just a thought, hopefully someone can use it and succeed with it.

This does work. It's the basis of most of my affiliate marketing.

I usually don't talk about the product itself as much as the strategy that it helps achieve.

So for example if I was promoting an article spinner, I'd be talking about the benefits of article marketing and specifically the benefits of spinning and the tool would be just the 'and this tool does it all for you' at the end.

It's worked wonders for me in the past.

When I'm doing "review" type pages, I like to do a quick video of me using the product or showing an example of how the product has worked fo rme and that works pretty well..

but another thing that has worked even better as far as conversions is concerned is:

I find some way that I can make the product easier, or more efficient, or something... then I give that away to anyone that buys through my link. I show them how it makes it easier to use the product and it seems that I get a whole lot higher conversions when I do that.

Sometimes this is as simple as a quick start tutorial on how to use the product, sometimes it's as hard as an additional ebook or video explanation on something. Either way, I'm adding value to the product.
