the difficulty of joint ventures

hi there, sorry for the rant but i just felt that i had to get this out of me. Joint ventures are very hard to get unless you know the person intimately and meet them face to face. even harder is getting a joint venture broker to reply to you when you contact them. And they still call themselves joint venture BROKERS?!!!

Anyone have a solution to this problem?

If you give JV partners and JV brokers what they want, they'll be very contactable.

The solution is to give them what they want, lol (i.e. good product, good conversions, good payout, etc.).

Obviously, meeting people in person would help, but it's not the only way to get JVs.

What have you got and what have you tried so far?

As long as you have something of value for them you should't have a problem? Adswap with someone with a similar sized email list etc... I am actually looking for adswaps myself. Just offer potential JV partners something that can mutually benefit you both.

And the bigger your list the more offers you will get. Good luck!

If you provide value in what you offer, then you might have more of a change to succeed

Make sure that when you approach JV Brokers you have done everything you should in terms of having a strong product, great copy, comprehensive JV/ Affiliate toolkit and everything else that is required to effectively take a product to market.

I do JVs all the time over the phone. But I'm not working in overly saturated IM MMO markets, so when I talk to a site owner or a database owner in another niche, they're more than happy to listen to the discussion.

IM is naturally going to be harder. There's so many people with so many products all screaming for the same attention.

I would say first you need to build a reputation for yourself. Look at a guy like Jason Fladlien. He came up right here on the WF and produced incredible products which made people take notice. Then he capitalized on that to get partners to take notice and sell even more products.
