How Are You Staying Competitive With Increasing Online Competition?

Be original, not to always follow the crowd - hence be original, which helps you stand out.

For example, if everybody sells easter eggs, I would sell easter eggs and offer chewing gum as a bonus!

I feel that it is important to do more of the task that the majority of the marketers are not interested in doing.

John Reese in his Traffic Secrets 2 video has mention that if the majority of the marketers are not doing certain task because it involves hard work and time, it will be a good opportunity for those marketers who are willing to do the task to cash in on the potential profits.

One of the example is the article marketing strategy. Many people have claim that it is not as effective as before but it is not true. Basically as the online competition gets more competitive, the person will need to do even more so that they stay competitive.

For example, having 25 articles will give you result A 5 years ago but you might need to have 100 or even more articles to give you the same result A in today's competitive market.

I think working smarter and harder is both equally important in order to stay competitive.

To become and stay competitive you have to offer something of legitimate value.

Follow your own and do the good and effective things.

As example, let say we are competiting on "internet marketing'.
Go to google trends, and find out what happen.
Google Trends: internet marketing

Deepen your research with google insight.
Let say, we want to know how its going the 'internet marketing' niche at Malaysia, so,
we will go to, Google Insights for Search

My suggestion, look the graph carefully, and target a country with rising trend on your niche. In my case, Malaysia is not a good market for 'internet marketing' , especially for newbie.

One more thing, use google translate to tap the untap market .

Each and every day there are millions of NEW searches in Google.

This is a huge snow ball and it won't stop. Think of IM like a gold mine with infinite pockets.

I figure that authority sites are the way forward in the far,far future. however in the meantime, there are still gazillions of niches/sub niches that you can tap with wordpress. Although perhaps soon, the SE's will wise up to them too.

Wow, You seriously mean there are many someone elses who can write with my voice, has my personal experience in international dating, has survived the same bad divorce, has started a family twice, once in his 20's and the second time in his late 40's, has my experience in Computer Networking, Article Writing, Weight Loss, splitting his life between two continents and has my same personal discoveries....

Damn...No one is going to be interested in what I have to say.

My point, each and every one of you has a unique voice, and unique style which is going to resonate with a certain number of people. By putting yourself out there as a real person, you leave behind the other "marketers", and you have no competition, because there is no other person to say what you have to say.

(Think very carefully about that...What sets Allen Says, Ed Dale, Frank Kerns, John Reese, and even Lynn Terry apart from other people? It is not the products, it is their particular slant, their voice, their experiences...Apply the same filter to the Warrior Forum, what makes people follow Steve Wagenheim, Tim Gorman, Jeremy Kelsall, James-TheRichJerksNet, Alexa Smith, etc....Is it really their products, or is it the way they communicate, their voice, their experiences?)

It may take you time to build your following up...but if you persistently share yourself, your passions, and your experiences, you will.

For me its all about quality writing and content. I read what others are doing and I still feel I can deliver written information better than most. So thats my edge and only people who are better at writing and presentation can ever get ahead of me in that respect.

People tend to follow leaders.

That is; people who exhibit leadership qualities. Those that help others without asking for anything in return. It is for these people that success follows with great ease.

By being humble and charismatic, educating others and expecting nothing in return. You will find a way to make massive amounts of money...

This is my way of staying competitive in this ever evolving game we call internet marketing.

Dont have funnel vision on your industry.

Look at what works in other industry and test it in your industry.

Hence, I am reading Warrior Forum since its outside my niche and learn what it working from you guys and share with you guys and grow in my industries outside IM.

Also someone said for newbies, IM is bad. I dont think you have any right or should teach to make money online, unless you have really made some money online...it is short lived and just morally wrong.

ANY...money or blessings I have is NOT a direct
results of someone LOSING something.

And that appears to be the general consensus,
not just in this thread...but among many warriors
(and struggling entrepreneurs).

In all my success in life and business, I've never
had to compete with others to get what I want
out of life, especially in money.

Some could argue that sports is a competitive
game. And I would agree, but it was specifically
DESIGNED to be that way.

Not the case in prosperity, wealth, health and
spirituality. One of many universal laws that can
NOT be controlled by ANY man or business.

Everyone can win at this game we call "business",
but if you believe other wise (fighting for your
life and basically complaining how everyone else
is taking what's rightfully yours)....

You will ALWAYS be fighting for your life, and be
what I call, a "has-been"

But I doubt anyone here would actually stop and
think about this, because most people are so caught
up in sharing their "war stories" with anyone who
cares to give a listening ear.

And I challenge you to ask yourself.

Why consume yourself in your own (and others
self pity?

In the end, you only destroy yourself in so many
ways I care not to explain.
