Help! ...social bookmarking plug-in confusion

Please can anyone calm my frustrations...

I've never used social bookmarking before - not beyond a few posts in Twitter anyway.

I'm submitting my URL using onlywire.com and for submission to one SB site, I'm being told I need to install software into Firefox. So I opened FF and after a couple more clicks I'm told that this plug-in is indeed installed - although I cannot recognise where. I'm assuming it's up there on my browser bar somewhere?. Re-started FF

Next I went back into my onlywire account only to be told that I need to install exactly what I just thought I'd installed... more and  )

Does the above also suggest that this procedure will not work if I'm using I.E. ?

Maybe for the sake of another few minutes, it'd be easier if I just sub everything manually...?

    Hi ian

Try checking it out in FF --> tools ---> add ons. check in "extensions or plugin". they may be surely there.

    Hope this helps.

You should also look around for other tools to help - maybe ping.fm will help - that sends links out to lots of sites.

    Hey mate,

If it's SEO for Firefox and you have a mac, then it should be on the bottom right of your window. You should see the letters S E O with the O replaced with a tiny firefox symbol.

When I say bottom right, I mean the bottom right of your window, so below and to the right of this comment

I am also using Onlywire for posting. But from few months I am also facing some problems. I am using Firefox browser and also added adons of Onlywire. When I post my blog posts or other articles it gives me posted all items but when I checks it is not there. I can't find the solution to this problem. To save time to bookmark I have to use other service. I will advise you to do the same. As suggested ping.fm could be good option. I am going to try it.

        Thanks all. Ping.fm looks good.

Is it safe to assume if I want to add multiple sites (niches) with each social site, then I would need multiple sign-ups for each social bookmarking site? i.e. 10 different domains would imply signing 10 times with each social site I use.
