Why don't they just send the money to you, and you can then buy the product for them? That way you're not going to get any charge-backs issues etc.

Yes you can let him pay through that but make sure that he pays you before you deliver...this way you wont get spammed.

My advice is do not accept Western Union money orders.

The reason is because Western Union is in the business of selling
their money orders, not the business of cashing them. The net
effect is you may have a hard time cashing the money order
yourself. You can Google it - it's messed up. Western Union
advertises heavily to low income people and preys on their
    ignorance in my opinion.

A US postal money order is cheaper and you can cash it at
any post office. Of course maybe you are selling outside the
US or across international lines, but I would recommend
not making a policy of ever accepting Western Union
    money orders.

The reason nobody wants to cash them is because there's
a fraud problem with Western Union. Research it.

For big transactions a wire transfer can be good. Western
Union made it's name doing wire transfers, which is not the
same thing as a money order. You still have to be careful
and always make sure you aren't being defrauded before
    you deliver the goods.

In short: wait until the check clears. Always.
