Google is on the Ball!

Just received an eMail that, after reviewing my account, they found that one of my ads did not meet their guidelines and suspended it.

The ad was part of a campaign I haven't even run for at least two years, possibly 3-5 years.

Should I fix the ad and resubmit it so that they can review and approve an ad I may not ever run again anyway?

Yikes... I've had a few of these come up - I usually assume that it's due to some recent rule changes that have gone into effect. I either delete them (if I'm sure I'll never run it again) or fix it (if I think I might use it later). In my mind, there's no reason to have existing black marks in Google's eyes.

I would delete the ads and respond to Google with a thank you letter. They are like the crazy uncle you've always been scared of, and don't want to piss off.

I hear they're making a big announcement soon. Some exciting late-breaking news about how Google bought YouTube.

    cheers,
