I just purchased Ninja Link Cloaker and if anyone is experienced with it I have a couple of questions.

I have hostgator as my hosting site.

When I cloak the link that I want to disguise there are two links that come up; the one is the first domain that I bought when I got my host gator account. The second one is the subdomain that I am using. So therefore the link looks like this http://www.firstdomain..com/subdomain/affiliate.com now it does go to the affiliate program and only has the affiliate name; but how do you get rid of the first domain and only use the subdomain?

I am lost and have been playing around with this all morning. If anyone can assist me and tell me how to get it to where only the subdomain is showing I would be grateful.

Thanks

Hostgator being one of the largest hosts, I would hope that you'll get support on this.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Pretty sure it is impossible to do what you are thinking of. You are trying to hide the first domain in the address bar at the top? So this is what you want to read in the address bar: directory_name\affiliate_site.com. This would be impossible to do. What you could do is only show the first domain name, so no matter what page you were viewing on your site, it would only show firstdomain.com always. But there is no way to hide the first domain because that is ip or location of the pages being viewed. 99% positive on this.

I will be interested in seeing what others say about this because I was just about to order the same software too and I have a reseller account with lots of addon domains.

if it is a true sub-domain, meaning that the domain has it's own url that you can access, then this should be pretty easy.

    if you have
    Code:
    http://www.maindomain.com/subdomain/whatever.html
if subdomain is registered with a domain provider you should be able to use
    Code:
    http://www.subdomain.com/whatever.html
if subdomain is not registered the best you could do is
    Code:
    http://www.subdomain.maindomain.com/whatever.html
