Need help turning a "buy tickets" type keyword into profits.

I've been using google trends, to cut a long story short and make sure no one discovers what i've found. I found some highly searched keywords with minimal competition for "buy tickets XXX XXX". It's a pretty good longtail, in fact the main keyword has only 38,000 competition in google and was searched 27,000 times last month.

There is also many long tails like "plan xxxx Xxx xxx" or "seating at XXXx XXXX"

So i've found a great keyword that is basically asking to buy tickets, i've hooked up with an affiliate program for a ticket vendor who has tickets for the many concerts etc at the venue and now i'm just trying to think how i can get into google search results for it.

I don't want to buy another domain name and have to wait weeks then months to finally get into the search results, especially since i'm having a hard job with another site doing this already.

My only idea up to now is just to make a few blogger at blogger and post some content targeting the keywords. Not sure what the content would be really.

What content do you use for "Buy xxxx tickets"?

The only other thing i could think of is googles own adwords since there is only one ad showing anyway, but i don't have any money and i already owe them money.

How would you drive traffic through the affiliate links for this?

G insights gave the main keyword +3580% in the past year and like i said it only has 38k competition within quotes.

I use social bot and linkvana if i could put that to good use?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Matt - I'm about to embark on a project with a local ticket broker, who specialises in corporate entertainment packages. He's based in Birmingham, UK.

One of the strategies we are going to use is to post ads on Gumtree - posts on Gumtree are often indexed very quickly, and you can get on the first page of Google easily (Well I do, anyway - but not in this niche, only because I havent tried yet)

Don't forget to Digg your blog!

Matt have you thought about using Squidoo for something like this?...

Using squidoo would allow you to focus on ticket buyers AND spend some time on the name of the artists for extra relevant content.. ticket keywords and plenty of artist information..

backlinks from social bookmarking, and then combine that with a HubPage on the artist which would link to the squidoo lense...

And also USFreeAds for backlinks and targeting longtail keywords... Squidoo, HubPages and USFreeAds give you much more freedom than a regular article directory, but that's all they are.. fancy article directories....

Don't forget what we discuessed in that other thread about Blogger blogs too.. no need to pay our for a new domain then..

      Peace
