Internet Screenshots in Books and eBooks
A lot of Internet Marketing eBooks use screenshots in their eBooks, particularly with tutorials.
Does anyone know if this is actually legal? I'm not expecting legal advice here (although it would be welcomed!).
If for instance you were to put some screenshots of "Google Analytics" in a printed book which you were going to have published, could this be a trademark infringement?
There are so many printed books about Twitter, Facebook etc and all of them seem to use these screenshots and looking in the prefaces I don't see permissions given etc.
I am keen to use screenshots myself, but don't want to end up in hot water further down the road.
Cheers,
Derrick
