Affiliate Marketers, How Long Did It Actually Take You To Make Your First Sale?

Hey Affiliates,

I have seen people here lamenting that they are not seeing any success yet though they have been doing this Affiliate Marketing thing for 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, etc.

Please I want those of us that have really built an affiliate marketing business empire from the scratch to share with us how long it actually took them to make their first sale.

And tell us why it took that long - that is, what did you do right before the sale came? Or what were you doing wrong before you realized your mistake?

I just made my first sale after about 2 months of little work here and there.

    My first affiliate sale came in about 2 weeks of me posting a press release.

    I did my KW research really well on that one though. One simple press release, written by me in about 30 minutes then wet on to earn me some $ 300 in affiliate revenue. :p

    AND, it went up to the fist page of google with NO BACKLINKING AT ALL

    I made my first affiliate commission a few months into the game after I set up my blog, got traffic through safelists, and had a grand total of four subscribers.
