I would be VERY VERY careful. I used to work in the video game industry and the margins are very slim. Those seem to be waaaaay too cheap to me.

I doubt if it's legit.

So guys what do you think, are they genuine? Anyone having any experience or information about buying from these Chinese traders can greatly help me.

And yes they accept paypal also.

Absolutely not legitimate. You can NOT buy NEW system such as the Wii and PS3 for that price. Even Walmart who has billions of dollars, can not buy systems at that price.

Also, most actual suppliers in China do not use or will ever use PayPal.

If you want, I can have my staff investigate that company for you, but they probably aren't located in China anyways.

Thanks Eric and Fajeeb for your reply. It indeed looks strange and not legitimate but these companies claims to export electronic product worldwide and majorly to US,Canada and UK.I have seen many buyers from US,UK and other countries have posted their buying offers to purchase 100s items in bulk from these suppliers. I know that most of the electronic products are manufactured in China by almost all major players and shipped worldwide.Even my current distributor in India buys from China. These Chinese traders say that they buy directly from factories so they are able to give such a low price. Most of these companies have shown me their documents and one company also showed me Nintendo wii game console's Declaration of Conformity ,LVD test report and EMC test report

Almost all of these 40 - 50 companies are giving me almost same rate. So it is not like few companies are trying to get away doing fraud. I verified their emails that the message origin is indeed from China so yes these companies are located their.

And yes they accept paypal and some companies also agreed for escrow for bulk purchase.Any fraud company would not accept any of the two.

But still I am very skeptic and confused as how can they provide these items for such a low rate.

If you look carefully through marketplaces like DHGate, TradeTang, etc the REAL seller actually list their products at the cheapest you'll see on eBay; meaning they are Chinese copies and I wouldn't take the risk.

Just like the video games themselves, you'll get them at $2 a copy or even lower, but they are copies and if caught selling them you're in some trouble.

Stick to your trusted suppliers, be smart about it.

I'd rather get legit supplies and make a little less then have a few big months with fake products and get sued.

Thanks for the reply Daniel. I am taking about gaming consoles here and not pirated games copy which is easily available in India for few cents. I believe replica or duplicate consoles of psp or ps3 or wii etc cannot be made till now. But still not sure how they are providing for so cheap.Look at the sites of few suppliers:

About every 4 or 5 months, a new batch of fake PS3's and Wii's hit the black market. Usually someone is savvy enough to nearly replicate one with cheaper parts, and sell them for much less of a profit. These don't usually last long, people/resellers usually catch on, not to them being fake because they already knew, but being of such low quality that they don't last long which costs them.

I think K-Mart got caught selling replica Super Nintendos like 20 years ago, lol. I think it was K-Mart, either way, they probably didn't know.

Also, build a relationship with the suppliers, and offer to pay for shipping for a sample. If they say No, its probably because they:

Are Fraudulent
or
Are Dropship Trading (which is what 90% of Alibaba.com is)
or
New, and don't have the funds to supply one to you, which will probably result in the same way as them being fraudulent.

As far as I know the products from India are even more expensive than the are in places like US, Australia, UK, etc.

I believe when the Iphone came out it was 3x more?

If you want to take the risk, it's your choice; I can't say yes or no in a situation like this. They could show the real thing and send you one of those crappy fake copies or sell something refurbished when it's advertised as new.

Yes Daniel you are right. Electronics in India is expensive than other countries. Iphone is still 3x expensive than US.

I know it's risky, this is the reason why I am sharing everything with you guys so as to get as many opinions and information as I can which could help in taking better decision.

Yep listen to the others here. I too was in the video game industry (since 96 until 2008) and it is true that the margin on gaming software and the console hard ware is VERY slim. There are ways to get incredible deals but you wont find them typically on consoles. You can definitely make some good money in the gaming industry, just be VERY careful who you deal with. Also keep in mind that most gaming related factories and distributors in China will be in the Shenzhen, Guandong, HK and Kowloon areas.

There are a lot of rip offs out there in this field, particularly hardware. I would deal with trusted suppliers, hopefully you have some good ones already. Try to work on volume.
